Amplicon
Affymetrix Inc.
In November of 2005, Agencourt Bioscience Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Beckman Coulter, Inc, signed a distribution agreement with Affymetrix Inc. Affymetrix will include Agencourt® RNAClean™, a nucleic acid purification product, in the reagent kit for Affymetrix' GeneChip® Array Station. The GeneChip Array Station is an automated target preparation and microarray processing system that reduces labor and improves the standardization of experimental results. Affymetrix will also incorporate the Agencourt SPRI® magnetic bead technology into the automated GeneChip Array Station reagent product offering.
Amplicon
Amplicon Express, Inc.
In December 2004, Agencourt Biosciences formed a strategic marketing alliance with Amplicon Express Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Agencourt and Amplicon Express will co-market a suite of BAC library construction and DNA sequencing services to provide both quality and simplicity to their clients.
Seradyn, Inc.
In September of 2001, we formed a strategic alliance with Seradyn, Inc. to exclusively distribute Seradyn's Sera-Mag microparticle technology for all SPRI applications. Seradyn, a member of the Apogent Technologies family, is a leading manufacturer of world-class microparticle technology.
 
Invitrogen, Corp.
In April of 2003, we formed a strategic alliance with Invitrogen, Corp. to exclusively provide SAGE sequencing services for their I-SAGE kit customers. This partnerships will make SAGE a more accessible technology to the life science community. Invitrogen Corp. develops, manufacturers and markets research tools in kit form for biotechnology researchers and companies worldwide.
 
Integrated Genomics, Inc.
In August, 2003, Agencourt formed a strategic marketing alliance with Integrated Genomics, Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Agencourt and Integrated Genomics will co-market the most comprehensive suite of library construction, high quality sequencing and bioinformatics services available in the industry.
 
Ambion, Inc.
In September of 2003, we formed a strategic partnership with Ambion, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Ambion will distribute AMPure®, our SPRI-based PCR purification reagent, as a component in its MessageAmp RNA amplification kit. Ambion, Inc., is a market leader in the development and supply of innovative RNA-based life science research and molecular diagnostic products.
